About CarePlanKit

Every nursing student writes dozens of care plans. Each one means staring at a blank template, matching cues to a diagnosis, and hand-writing goals, interventions, and the rationale your instructor always asks for. It takes hours, over and over.

CarePlanKit gives you a structured starting draft. Pick a condition, add your patient's cues, and get a formatted plan you then adapt, check and export.

Who runs CarePlanKit?

CarePlanKit is run by a single independent operator, not a school, not a hospital and not a publisher of nursing textbooks. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by NANDA International, NIC or NOC, and it uses standard clinical language rather than their proprietary taxonomies.

How are the care plans made?

• The examples are drafted with AI assistance (Claude by Anthropic, how we use AI) from widely taught nursing fundamentals, and edited against the public sources listed on each page (for example MedlinePlus).
• Scripts check every page for structure and re-check the source links once a month.
• No nurse or clinician reviews the content yet. Treat every example as a study aid and check it with your instructor before you rely on it.
• We do not test anything on patients and we never use real patient information.

How does CarePlanKit make money?

Today it does not: there are no ads, no paid plan and no live affiliate links. The only way we plan to earn is a clearly labelled “Paid link” to exam-prep material (study guides or practice questions for exams such as the NCLEX), shown only on study guides like SMART goals or the care plan template. We will never place affiliate links on care plan pages for medical conditions, on nursing diagnosis pages or on mental health pages. This paragraph will say when the first such link goes live.
